Will the new Huawei AG phones have google play store or youtube or other google products？

The new Huawei AG phone does not have google play store or youtube or other google products pre-installed. We do have an alternative Application store called “HUAWEI AppGallery”. You can use the HUAWEI AppGallery to download applications directly onto your new Smartphone. Huawei is investing lots of resources to create a better and more secure application market environment for our customers. Actually now you can download most of the applications via Huawei App Gallery. And more and more applicatons will be integrated to Huawei App Gallery in the coming days.

What does it mean by being without Google Mobile Services (GMS)?

Being without GMS means some Android apps that require Google support may not work properly on Huawei phones. If you need to use these apps, you may download them from Huawei AppGallery or a third-party app store. And various technical information are on the Internet and forums, so you may search some useful materials there. If you are still unable to access a specific app, you may try accessing it through your phone browser.

Apps that are not pre-installed include Google Maps, Gmail, Google Search, YouTube, Chrome, Google Drive, Google Play Store, Facebook, WhatsApp, Linkedln, Grab, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook Messenger, Waze, etc.

Some apps are not able to download from AG, what can I do?

1. Please add the app name to Wishlist and submit it. You will be notified when this app is available in HUAWEI AppGallery.

1）If the search result is empty or the desired app is not found in the search result list, please swipe down from the search result list, and touch Add to Wishlist to add the app.

2）Go to HUAWEI AppGallery, go to Me > Wishlist to add the app. Please make sure to enter the correct app name when adding the app to Wishlist. If you have more information about the app, you may fill in the description and attach screenshots in the detailed description.
