The parental unit can be powered via mains and battery
The parent unit works perfectly with mains power. For extra mobility, you can add batteries for cordless use of the parent unit. You can insert two non-rechargeable 1.5V R6 AA alkaline batteries or two rechargeable 1.2V R6 AA batteries.

The baby unit must be continuously connected to mains power to operate. This product does not include a camera and only transmits audio.
