Equipped with two cold shoe mounts, the cage allows for easy attachment of cold shoe accessories such as microphones or LED lights. Built-in 1/4"-20 locating holes on the side and bottom are compatible with SmallRig anti-twist mounts, enhancing stability during use. A magnetic quick release interface at the base is fully compatible with the original quick release mount that accompanies the Insta360 X4 Air, enabling fast transitions between shooting setups.

The battery compartment can be accessed directly without removing the cage, facilitating quick battery replacements. Additionally, a safety lanyard hole is reserved on one side of the cage for attaching a hand strap to prevent the device from falling off during handheld shooting..
