The ingenious design of the Powerline Vario X enables it to charge almost any Li-Ion rechargeable battery pack or Li-Po rechargeable battery pack. Whether a rechargeable battery pack for digital camera or camcorder, the moveable contacts can be varied accordingly making the Powerline Vario a real all-rounder.
Alternatively, it is also possible to charge classical AA or AAA size NiMH round cell rechargeable batteries in pairs. This is an enormous advantage when travelling as only one device is required for charging all of your rechargeable batteries.
Indispensable features
The voltage and polarity of lithium rechargeable battery packs is detected automatically. This rules out the possibility of short-circuits or incorrect insertion of the batteries and provides reverse polarity protection. The microcontroller-controlled charging starts automatically as soon as contact is made with the rechargeable battery pack. In the case of the NiMH rechargeable batteries, the system switches to pulse maintenance charging once charging is complete, keeping the rechargeable batteries fresh and ready for use at any time.
LCD display
The LCD display provides information about the charge status in 25% steps. This means that the charge progress can be easily seen at all times.
Individual
The Powerline Vario X is very compact thus offering another advantage for use when travelling. Thanks to the USB connection, the charger can be used with any USB mains adapter with min. 1A output current, whether at home or in the car. Alternatively, the Powerline Vario X can also be operated with a Powerbank.
