ELEGOO Centauri 2 combines a CoreXY motion system with a rigid die-cast frame for high-speed FDM printing. It reaches up to 500 mm/s with maximum acceleration of 20,000 mm/s², while the 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume provides room for larger models or several smaller parts. The 0.4 mm nozzle heats to 350°C and the direct-drive Dual-Gear extruder provides controlled filament feeding, including with flexible materials. The printer is designed for 1.75 mm PLA, PETG, PLA-CF and TPU.

Full-Auto Calibration with 121-point automatic bed leveling reduces manual setup and helps prepare the build plate for the first layer. The double-sided spring steel plate features a textured PEI surface and a surface designed for PLA. Filament end and clog detection, automatic filament unloading, fan diagnostics and power-loss resume provide additional control during printing. A 5-inch color capacitive touchscreen running ELEGOO OS handles operation, while Wi-Fi and USB allow models to be transferred to the printer. Centauri 2 is compatible with ElegooSlicer, Orca and Cura and supports STL, OBJ, 3MF and STEP files.
