AXAGON SuperSpeed USB-C 10 Gbps Raw Box for NVMe & SATA M.2 SSD

Universal external AXAGON EEM2-SG2 RAW box with USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface is designed for M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD drives. The double-sided USB-C connector ensures a reliable connection. The package includes not only a USB-C → USB-C cable for connecting the box to a computer, but also a USB-C → USB-A adapter, allowing connection to any free USB port on a notebook.

The second-generation fast USB interface allows full use of modern M.2 SSD speeds, with a transfer rate of up to 10 Gb/s. The external M.2 box also supports UASP, TRIM, and reading of S.M.A.R.T. information to monitor disk health. Standby support is provided when idle.

A unique feature, thanks to the new chipset, is compatibility with both M.2 NVMe and SATA drives. You do not need to worry about the type of M.2 drive to use. The box supports three SSD card lengths – 42 mm, 60 mm, and 80 mm. M.2 cards can be single- or double-sided, and there is no limitation on SSD capacity.

Screwless opening simplifies assembly and disassembly of M.2 SSD drives. Drive replacement is quick and easy, expanding the box’s use for data migration, testing, etc. The outer metal housing is titanium silver with an elegant brushed finish to prevent fingerprints. The rounded design ensures comfortable handling.

The aluminium body, cooling holes, and thermal pad provide excellent cooling of the M.2 SSD, extending its lifespan and preventing performance throttling (Thermal Throttling).

Inserting an M.2 SSD into the box creates a fast, compact external drive suitable for computers, notebooks, mobile phones, and tablets.
