Freewell Variable ND/CPL Filter Kit Brandon Li 82mm

The Freewell Brandon Li 82mm Variable Density ND/CPL Filter Set is a modular magnetic filter system for photography and videography in changing lighting conditions. The VND/CPL module combines variable neutral density filtration with a circular polarizing filter, allowing light reduction and polarization to be adjusted independently. The VND filter provides 1–5 stops of light reduction, while the CPL helps reduce reflections from water, glass and other non-metallic surfaces.

The included ND32 filter extends the light reduction range to 6–10 stops when attached to the VND/CPL module. It can also be mounted directly on the base ring and used as a standalone filter with fixed light reduction. This allows the system to be configured for different lighting conditions without carrying several separate filter systems.

The Glow Mist 1/4 filter softens bright areas and highlights for a more diffused image. It can be mounted directly on the base ring or attached magnetically to the VND/CPL module. The magnetic mounting system supports quick filter changes, while the locking mechanism helps secure the filters during movement and on-location filming.

The optical system uses 18-layer coatings to reduce reflections and maintain image clarity. True Color technology, including an Anti-Color Shift layer, helps minimise unwanted colour shifts across the filter's operating range. The front protective cap incorporates a grey card for checking white balance.

The set includes the VND 1–5/CPL module, ND32 filter, Glow Mist 1/4 filter, 82mm base ring, front cap with integrated grey card, 82mm rear cap, filter case, single filter pouch, clip accessory and cleaning cloth.
