Bosch Smart Home door/window contact II [+M]

The smart door/window contact II [+M] reliably detects open doors and windows and shows their status in the app. The extra thin magnet unit can be attached discreetly to windows – even those with multiple glazing – on the top or on the side. The sensor has a number of functions: With “Sustainable ventilation”, the radiator thermostats in the room are automatically turned down if windows are open, thus saving energy and money. As part of the alarm system, it triggers an alarm if doors/windows are opened without permission. When the alarm system is activated, it also gives a warning regarding possible security risks if windows/doors are left open. The integrated button for the door/window contact II [+M] also has a number of functions: Using the app, a brief or a long push of the button can be set individually to trigger actions or scenarios. With a double click, the break function can be used. Thanks to this practical feature, the window/door can be opened briefly, e.g. to let the dog out, without the alarm being triggered or the heating turned down.The door/window contact [+M] can be used with the current Matter standard functions in any Matter system and the respective app. Information regarding use is made available by the respective provider.
