A long drill bit is used with the M24K holder as it has a hollow shank (the shank of the pre-drill is used as the shaft and the holder is placed in the middle of the pre-drill). Product family: The size of the hole saw determines whether to use a large or small holder. For hole saws smaller than Ø32mm, use a small holder; for those from and including Ø32mm, use a large holder. The holders come with a short HSS drill bit that fits all HSS Bi-Metal hole saws.
