This flexibility makes it an excellent choice for multiple subjects and uses, including sports, wildlife, and even portraits. Teleconverters (sold separately) can extend its range even further, up to 280mm (DMW-STC14, 1.4x) or 400mm (DMW-STC20, 2x). Use of the teleconverter reduces the effective aperture by one f/stop (DMW-STC14) or two f/stops (DMW-STC20).
