GL.iNet Flint 3e Wi-Fi 7 Router

The GL.iNet GL-BE6500 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router designed for larger home networks, offices and more advanced network environments. It provides wireless speeds of up to 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 5,764 Mbps on 5 GHz, for a combined throughput of up to 6,500 Mbps. Wi-Fi 7 features including MLO, 4K QAM, Multi-RU Puncturing and Preamble Puncturing improve bandwidth utilisation and connection stability when multiple devices are active. Four external antennas and six high-power FEM modules provide coverage of up to approximately 232 m² and support for more than 100 devices.

Five 2.5G Ethernet ports provide one WAN and four LAN connections, with LAN1 configurable as a second WAN port. Multi-WAN supports Ethernet, Wi-Fi repeater, USB tethering and cellular connections, while Load Balancing and Failover can distribute traffic and switch to a backup connection when required.

The GL-BE6500 supports WireGuard and OpenVPN as both client and server, with VPN speeds of up to 1,100 Mbps and 680 Mbps respectively. Rule-based routing, Tor, AdGuard Home and guest network isolation provide additional network control. OpenWrt 23.05 enables extensive configuration, with support for router, access point, extender and WDS modes, as well as ZeroTier and Tailscale.

A USB 3.0 Type-A port supports file and printer sharing, storage devices, media streaming and 4G/5G tethering. The router is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor with 1 GB DDR4 RAM and 512 MB NAND flash. It measures 240 × 157 × 74 mm and weighs 848 g.
