GL.iNet Flint Router
The GL.iNet Flint (GL-AX1800) is a Wi-Fi 6 router with wireless speeds of up to 1,800 Mbps, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm IPQ6000 processor, 1.5 GHz NPU and 512 MB DDR3L memory. It supports up to 120 connected devices and features five Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 3.0, OpenVPN, WireGuard and WPA3. AdGuard Home provides network-wide blocking of ads and trackers, while OpenWrt allows extensive configuration and software expansion. With OFDMA and MU-MIMO, Flint is suited for gaming, streaming, video conferencing and networks with multiple connected devices.
Flint can support up to 120 connected devices and is equipped with a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm IPQ6000 processor, a 1.5 GHz NPU, 512 MB DDR3L RAM and 128 MB NAND Flash memory. Five Gigabit Ethernet ports provide one WAN and four LAN connections, while a USB 3.0 port allows compatible USB devices to be connected.
The router supports OpenVPN and WireGuard and is compatible with more than 30 VPN services. It can also operate as a VPN server for remote access to files and other network resources. WPA3 and IPv6 provide additional network features, while built-in AdGuard Home can block ads and trackers for devices connected to the network. Cloudflare DNS over TLS encrypts DNS queries.
Flint runs on OpenWrt and provides access to additional configuration and software options. It supports Multi-WAN, failover and load balancing, and is compatible with the GL-M2 Development Board for adding 5G connectivity via a SIM card. This provides additional options for maintaining network access when a traditional connection is unavailable.
