1. Intelligent dynamic ANC 4.0
The new intelligent dynamic ANC detects your ear canal structure and wearing status, identifies the noise in your environment, and automatically switches to an optimal noise cancellation mode as conditions change, improving the average full-range noise cancellation depth to 28 dB.
Compared to the previous generation, HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i adopts a new high-performance hybrid 3-mic ANC system. It has 2 outer mics with a higher signal-tonoise ratio and an inner digital mic. The outer mics accurately pick up ambient noise, 
while the inner mic picks up residual noise in the ear canal, to greatly reduce background noise.
The earbuds feature a new large air vent that slows down noise, along with a dynamic high-performance speaker that emits inverted-phase sound waves to cancel out noise. This design greatly improves the noise cancellation across a broader range of medium- and high-frequency noises, achieving a maximum range increase of 10% compared to the previous generation. Specifically, in the human voice frequency range (300–3,000 Hz), which is particularly sensitive to the human ear, the improvement is 30%.
This new intelligent dynamic ANC adapts to environmental and wearing status changes within seconds to achieve an optimal noise cancellation performance. Compared to the previous generation, the earbuds provide 15% faster adaptive noise cancellation.
Thanks to the improved ANC, the occlusion effect on the previous generation is greatly reduced. External sound can enter the ear canal when the ANC and Awareness mode are disabled. This ANC supports an adaptive awareness algorithm that dynamically detects the ear canal structure and wearing status, to offer a personalized awareness effect and reproduce external sound. It also enhances voice while reducing ambient noise,* helping you stay plugged into your surroundings.
The earbuds come with four sizes of ear tips: L, M, S, and XS. The XS size is added for users with smaller ears to offer an optimal noise cancellation experience.

2. Call noise cancellation with 3 mics and a bone conduction component
Equipped with 3 mics and a bone conduction component, the earbuds further optimize its call noise cancellation architecture. Along with the industry-leading DNN call noise cancellation algorithm, the earbuds eliminate xx dB of background noise and ensure stable and clear calls at a wind speed of x m/s, whether you're on the subway, in a shopping mall, or facing a stiff breeze.* 
*Your voice is recognized in noisy environments to ensure clear voice quality. This feature automatically takes effect when changes in ambient noise are detected. No manual settings are required. Actual call experience may vary slightly depending on usage habits, environment factors, and app capabilities.
3. Multi-connection and automatic device switching*
The earbuds can automatically switch between multiple devices. You can answer calls from your phone when you are watching TV on your tablet.
*Automatic device switching is available only when paired with certain Huawei phones and tablets running HarmonyOS 3.0 or later. Dual-connection is supported on non-HUAWEI devices.
4. IP54 dust- and water-resistance
The earbuds are IP54 dust- and water-resistant.
*IP54 dust- and water-resistance only applies to the earbuds themselves, not the charging case. This device is splash-, dust-, and water-resistant in normal conditions. It was tested under controlled lab conditions and got an approved rating of IP54 under IEC standard 60529. Splash-, water-, and dust-resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance may decrease over time with normal use.
Avoid charging the device in damp environments. Liquid damage is not covered under the warranty.
5. Dual certification and multiple EQ styles
HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i adopts the Huawei-proprietary Bluetooth protocol L2HC 2.0 and the LDAC developed by Sony to implement high-bit-rate HD audio transmission. It has passed both HWA and Hi-Res Wireless certifications. You can enable Prioritize sound quality in the AI Life app to enjoy transmission of up to 990 kbps**, ensuring HD audio reproduction.
The earbuds inherit the quad-magnet dynamic driver unit of the previous generation, delivering subtle sound with clear voices and rich details. You can fine-tune your sound with preset styles and 10 bands of EQ.***
*L2HC 2.0 is available only when paired with certain Huawei phones and tablets running HarmonyOS 3.0 or later.

6. Triple adaptive EQ
Get the full experience with groundbreaking algorithm for triple adaptive EQ, which pays attention to volume level, ear canal structure, and the way the earbud is worn to optimize audio across all frequencies.
7. Find earbuds
The Find earbuds feature records the position where the earbuds were last disconnected, helping you locate the earbuds on a map or by playing a tone.*
The Locate on map feature is available only when paired with devices running EMUI 11.0/HarmonyOS 2 or later, and the Find Devices app is used. For non-Huawei phones, the Play sound feature is available only when the AI Life app is used.
8. Swipe and touch controls
Highly responsive touch and swipe shortcuts make it easier than ever to apply noise cancellation and adjust media volume.

9. Smart wear detection
The earbuds can detect when they are being worn, and will automatically pause audio or resume playing as needed.
10. Low-latency gaming
HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i supports a minimum latency of 90 ms for game playing.
*This feature is available only when paired with certain Huawei phones running HarmonyOS 2.0 or later.
11. Proximity pairing prompt
When the case is open, the phone automatically detects the earbuds and starts Bluetooth pairing. The pairing prompt shows the battery levels of the earbuds and the charging case.*
