1. Charge once, listen all week
HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 4 ANC features a low-power consumption chip platform solution. Compared to the FreeBuds SE 3, it offers 5% better power efficiency and charges 6% faster. This allows for up to 10 hours of music playback on a full charge, and up to 50 hours when charged multiple times with the charging case.* Even if you listen for 7 hours a day, you can use them for a full week before needing to recharge.
*Battery life data comes from Huawei labs. During the tests, audio was played at 50% volume level and with ANC disabled in AAC mode, with HUAWEI Pura 70 phones. The default settings were used for other features. Actual battery life may vary depending on the volume, audio source, environmental interference, product features, and usage habits.

2. Multi-mode ANC
HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 4 ANC is equipped with two microphones positioned inside and outside the ear when worn, which not only detect external noise, but also pick up the extra noise in the ear canal. It then uses this information to accurately generate noise-canceling sound waves, providing up to 24 dB average full-range noise cancellation depth (50 Hz to 16 kHz). It also adaptively adjusts the noise cancellation parameters based on the noise level of the external environment and the wearing status of the earbuds, providing an optimal personalized noise cancellation experience. When using the earbuds, feel free to choose between Ultra, General, and Cozy noise cancellation modes via the app, to adapt the effects to the environment, such as noisy environments, outdoor streets, and quite indoor environments.

3. Balanced, subtle sound across all frequencies
HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 4 ANC is equipped with a 10 mm dynamic driver unit in its compact body. Together with the polymer composite diaphragm, it delivers more powerful amplitude than the HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 3 to provide balanced sound across all frequencies and clear human voices, making it an excellent choice for playing pop music. Thanks to its independent rear cavity design, the outstanding dynamic response range and frequency response capability ensure a consistent and true-to-life audio experience.
4. Multi-EQ modes and EQ custom
Thanks to meticulous fine-tuning by Huawei's audio team, the earbuds support multi-EQ adjustment, offering Bass boost, Treble boost, and Voice modes that meet your every need. At the same time, the custom equalizer supports free adjustments of 10-band EQ, enabling you to play and create your personalized listening style.
5. Precise sound pickup for clear calls
The earbuds also feature a third microphone positioned outside the ear when worn, working alongside the existing two microphones—one inside and one outside the ear—to form a 3-mic call design. This design uses the beamforming technology to accurately pick up your voice, reduce ambient noise, and effectively locate the human voice, so as to enable the other party to hear your voice clearly even you are in an outdoor environment.
6. Touch controls for easy interactions
Double-tap:
Default settings:
(1) When not in a call: Play/Pause. The left and right earbuds can be set separately.
(2) When in a call: Answer/End the call. The left and right earbuds share the same feature.
Optional settings:
(1) When not in a call: Play/Pause, wake up the voice assistant, play the previous/next track, or none (when the touch control feature is disabled). The left and right earbuds can be set separately.

Triple-tap:

7. Proximity pairing prompt
The earbuds will automatically enter Pairing mode when you open the charging case for the first time. Your phone will automatically detect the earbuds and display a pairing prompt. After the connection is successful, the battery levels of the earbuds and charging case will be displayed.
*The pairing prompt is available on Huawei smartphones running EMUI 10.0/HarmonyOS 2.0 or later.
8. IP54 dust- and water-resistance
The earbuds are IP54 dust- and water-resistant.
*IP54 dust- and water-resistance is only applicable to the earbuds, not the charging case.
This device is splash, dust, and water resistant in normal conditions. It was tested under controlled lab conditions and got an approved rating of IP54 under IEC standard 60529.
Splash, water, and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance may decrease over time with normal use. Avoid charging the device in damp environments.Liquid damage is not covered under the warranty.
9. Low-latency gaming
HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 4 ANC supports a minimum latency of 130 ms for game playing.
