The Power Delivery (PD) technology present in the USB-C ports regulate the power output depending on the device being charged. In this way, it is possible to transfer large quantities of energy without overheating and short circuits. There Adaptive Fast Charge (AFC) technology present in the USB-A port likewise takes care of devices that need less power.
