The ground HSS spiral drill bit for drilling through metal with maximum precision. The exposed 135-degree split self-centering tip of the drill head combines active cutting with perfect centering without displacement for maximum precision. With the split tip, it is also unnecessary to mark center points in advance or pilot drill up to 10 mm. This precision-ground drill head, made of HSS (high-speed steel), provides up to 40% faster drilling and up to 50% lower clamping pressure than standard ground HSS cutting edge drill heads. This drill head is designed for drilling holes in alloyed and non-alloyed steel, cast steel, cast iron, sintered iron, reduced cast iron, non-ferrous metals and hard plastic. The ground HSS spiral bore head is manufactured according to DIN 338. The bore head is of type N (notch angle) with a 135-degree tip and a diameter tolerance of h8. It has a cylindrical shaft system (the shaft has the same diameter as the bore head) and is intended for use in drilling stands and screwdrivers.
