Descenders is a modern downhill freeride game where speed, precision, and full control of your bike are absolutely crucial. The game features procedurally generated tracks, making every run unique, and a single mistake can have serious consequences. It's all about mastering the terrain, finding your flow, and conquering the most demanding descents. The question is: Do you have what it takes to become the next legendary Descender?
The world changes every time you play. Tracks are automatically generated, constantly offering new combinations of jumps, turns, and steep drops. With its advanced physics system, the game gives you complete control over every movement, allowing for technical tricks like whips and scrubs with high precision.
Each new run gives you access to special mutators, letting you customize your abilities and experiment with different riding styles. Known as the Rogue-Bike system, this feature ensures a fresh and dynamic gameplay experience every time.
An online Rep system allows you to build your reputation as a rider. The more you achieve, the more bikes, outfits, and rewards you can unlock. Your progress is visible to the entire community, adding extra motivation to keep pushing your limits.
Music plays a central role in the Descenders experience. In collaboration with the renowned drum & bass label Liquicity, the developers have curated a soundtrack that perfectly matches the game’s intensity and energy.
To reach the top, you must complete an entire run without crashing. This requires skill, focus, and endurance. Only the best riders survive the full course and earn the title of legendary Descender.
At the beginning of the game, you choose a side. Join Team Enemy, focused on extreme tricks and stunts; Team Arboreal, masters of technical off-road riding; or Team Kinetic, where speed and momentum are everything. When you pick a team, you become part of a community. You'll wear your team’s colors, gain access to exclusive gear, and compete for special rewards if your team earns the highest Rep. You’ll also get access to your team’s private channel on the official Descenders Discord server.
