The Heat Wave Rock simulates a stone heated by the sun (in nature, even after sunset, stones maintain some heat for several hours). Various reptiles, including nocturnal, use this form of conductive heat for thermoregulation which is important for metabolism and digestion.

The Heat Wave Rock automatically shuts off when a certain surface temperature is reached to prevent burns or overheating. The fully-encased electronically controlled heating element covers the stone, prevent hot spots. The special thermal conductive resin is waterproof, non-toxic, easy to clean and ensures an even heat distribution. Natural looking Heat Wave Rocks are available in three sizes and are easy to integrate in any terrarium set-up; humid or dry.

Thermostat with day and night mode from Exoterra

Dimming & Pulse Proportional function controls terrarium temperatures very accurately
Easy to read LCD display
Red LED will indicate when heating device is ON
From 10°C - 60°C
Waterproof remote temperature probe

With the Exo Terra 600W Thermostat with Day/Night Timer & Dual Receptacles you can create a well-controlled 24-hour heating system that allows you to maintain the required temperature conditions similar to those found in a desert or tropical environment.

Both the daytime and nighttime temperatures can be set and controlled individually to guarantee safe daytime-nighttime temperature fluctuations for your reptiles.

The Thermostat will also help to prevent overheating and undercooling during hot summer days or cold winter nights.

The Dimming & Pulse Proportional function keeps the temperature at the desired set-point with a much higher accuracy than conventional thermostats and virtually eliminates temperature swings in the terrarium.

The Exo Terra Thermostat should be set according to the needs of the animals. Thoroughly research the preferred optimum temperature range (POTR) for your specific reptile, so you can create the correct temperature gradients inside the terrarium to allow your reptiles to thermoregulate. Always use a Thermometer to monitor the temperature inside your terrarium. Adjust the Exo Terra Thermostat according to the required temperature range for your pet’s environment.

A broad-spectrum daylight spot lamp with a Neodymium sleeve. The spectrum is ideal for plant's photosynthesis and the UVA (ultraviolet A) light contributes to reptiles' physiological well-being. The spot allows one to direct the heat and light in a certain direction to create basking sites in the terrarium.

Broad-spectrum daylight spot lamp for terrariums
Creates a basking area for thermoregulation
Increases ambient air temperature
Stimulates breeding behavior through UVA rays
Can be combined with Night Glo or Heat Glo for a 24 hours cycle
The Exo Terra Glow Light (PT2052 / PT2054 / PT2056) is perfectly suited for the Exo Terra Incandescent Bulbs.
