The peacock is undoubtedly the most elegant resident of the farm.

With its head held high, it struts majestically across the farmyard. It knows exactly how beautiful it is. It carries its long neck proudly and balances a lovely feather crown on its small head.

It spreads its long tail feathers into a stunning fan, showing off the vibrant blues, greens, and golds. Even the hens are amazed – their rooster can’t do that!

The peacock originally comes from India, but it also feels at home with Farmer Paul, as long as it has enough space to show off.

The black and white Indri opens its yellow button eyes attentively and listens intently. It sits on all fours and waits for its turn. The Indris’ famous morning songs in Madagascar have just begun. Of course it wants to join in! Every morning, the friends sing beautiful, melodic songs. They can be heard up to two kilometers away. They enjoy singing. They also use song to mark their territory and communicate with each other. Shh, the concert is about to start!

Pojazd przygodowy znów przemierza dżunglę! Tym razem Ranger Tom musi pomóc małemu azjatyckiemu słoniątku. Na szczęście solidna terenówka bez trudu radzi sobie z nierównym leśnym podłożem.

Tom parkuje w pobliżu i uruchamia wyrzutnię sieci na dachu. Z dużą precyzją zarzuca sieć na małego słonia, a następnie wciąga go wyciągarką na platformę, aby zbadać nogę.

Wygląda na to, że maluch ma skręcenie. Ranger Tom zakłada opatrunek – i wszystko wraca do normy! Gotowy, by wrócić do stada. Dla dzieci od 3 lat.

The European tree frog only grows to a size of three to four centimeters. Although it is so tiny, it is hard to miss, because of its bright green color. Only the belly is light brown to cream colored. A striking dark brown stripe runs from its flat, broad muzzle past the eye over the entire side. That makes the tree frog easy to recognize. What a handsome guy!

The American elk stands still at the edge of the forest, gazing into the distance. It’s mating season – and he is showing off his best side.

He walks majestically through the tall grass, ready to impress a doe. His strong body and antlers make him a worthy leader of his herd. I’m sure he can win a heart there.

Elephant bulls are considerably bigger than elephant cows. Reaching heights of almost four metres, they are the second largest land animals after giraffes. They also weigh five to six tonnes, which makes them the heaviest of all land animals. African elephant bulls usually leave their herd when they are about twelve years old. By then they are grown-up enough to find their own food and defend themselves, so they move through the country with other bulls or as a loner – in search of another herd.

The American wolf lifts its nose to the wind and pricks its sharp ears attentively. Could it smell something? It calls the pack together with a howl – it’s time to hunt!

The wolf silently stalks its prey. It is not alone. It knows its pack is close by. Side by side, they roam the wilderness and surround their prey. They can even take on much larger bison. Together they are strong!

Zebry żyją na afrykańskiej sawannie i należą do rodziny koniowatych. Każda zebra ma unikalny wzór futra składający się z czarnych i białych pasków. Nawet grzywa jest paskowana.

Wzór zapewnia kamuflaż, myli drapieżniki, chroni przed komarami, ułatwia znoszenie upału i pomaga zwierzętom rozpoznawać siebie nawzajem.

Goryl, samiec

With lions, it is almost exclusively the females that go hunting.

Żółw olbrzymi z Schleich® Wild Life ma dużą, kopułowatą skorupę. W naturze może osiągnąć długość od 100 do 120 cm.

Elephants are known as being thick skinned. However, their skin is so sensitive, they can even get sunburnt. That is why elephants often throw several layers of mud on themselves. This pleasant "cooling pack" also combats the scorching heat. While elephants cannot hear any better than other animals with their huge ears, they help them to cope with the African heat. When they fan with their ears, the blood cools down and provides them with refreshment.

What’s that rustling? Now a loud smacking sound. The cute raccoon has revealed itself.

It’s out hunting again and has probably found a treat. It looks so adorable that you simply can’t be mad at it. When it’s not smacking its lips, this nocturnal predator with its distinctive facial mask is usually quiet at night. Its gray fur provides perfect camouflage.

During the day, it hides in its tree den. The mischievous badger rests there until its next attack.

Away! The squirrel darts across the forest floor so fast you only catch a glimpse out of the corner of your eye.

It leaps purposefully up the trunk of the hazelnut tree and higher into the fork of the branches. That’s where the tasty nuts are hanging!

It quickly plucks one from the branch and scurries back down the tree. In its hiding place, it gathers nuts for the winter. The squirrel is a true master at building food stores. And it’s so cute!

Ages 3+.

The starfish lies completely still on the sea floor. Its yellow colour makes it hard to spot in the sand.

The perfect camouflage against its predators, such as fish and sea turtles. A turtle swims by. It comes dangerously close. Maybe it has spotted the starfish after all.

What is that? Suddenly, the starfish changes colour and turns a threatening red. The turtle doesn’t dare to come closer and prefers to swim away. The starfish is a fast-changing artist and can change its colour. Well done!
